READING, PA — A man wanted on charges involving a child was arrested following a brief foot pursuit on June 26, 2026.
The Berks County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit apprehended Freytiz Jr. in the 1300 block of Schuylkill Avenue.
Freytiz Jr. was wanted on charges of Aggravated Indecent Sexual Assault of a Person Less Than 13 Years of Age, filed by the Berks County District Attorney’s Office Detectives.
He was transported to the Berks County Central Booking Center, where he was processed and arraigned.
Bail was set at $100,000 secured.
He was then transported to the Berks County Jail.
