Parolee arrested on drug charges in Bath

BATH, NY — A parolee was arrested on felony drug charges following a compliance check at a local hotel.

Members of the Village of Bath Police Department responded to the Finger Lakes Inn, located at 330 W. Morris Street, at approximately 1:46 p.m. on June 23, 2026, to assist New York State Parole with a compliance check of a parolee residing at the hotel.

During the compliance check, parole officers located suspected controlled substances in the room of the parolee and turned the scene over to Bath police.

Keith C. Graves, 67, of Bath, was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected fentanyl, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and several items consistent with the packaging and sales of narcotics.

Graves was taken into custody and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.

He was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment, where he remains held without bail.

Graves is a seven-time convicted felon in the state of New York and remains under the supervision of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
