HOMER, NY — A 25-year-old Ithaca man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated June 13.
The Cortland County 911 Center received a complaint at approximately 3:58 p.m. of a reckless operator traveling eastbound on Route 90 toward the Village of Homer.
An officer with the Homer Police Department responded to the complaint and located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Byrne Dairy at 36 South West St.
Upon further investigation, the officer determined that Brian Sok, 25, of Ithaca, was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
Sok was arrested and processed before being released on a traffic ticket to a third party.
He is scheduled to appear in Homer Town Court on July 21, 2026, at 4 p.m.
