WATERBURY, CT — Officers from the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Gang Task Force, and Auto Theft Task Force executed a search warrant at the Big Apple Motel on West Main Street on Tuesday.
The warrant targeted Room 120 of the motel as well as Mark Gaston, 52, of Waterbury.
During the search, officers seized $9,075 in U.S. currency and 31 grams of crack cocaine.
Gaston was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of one-half ounce or more of cocaine in freebase form.
