BUFFALO, NY — Two suspects were arrested following the theft of a vehicle and subsequent pursuit on June 23, 2026.
Troopers from State Police Clarence arrested Tyshawn N. Wilson, 18, of Buffalo, and a 15-year-old male on multiple charges.
Wilson was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and conspiracy in the fifth degree.
The 15-year-old was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and unlawful fleeing of a police officer.
At 8:15 p.m., troopers received a 911 call reporting a stolen 2024 Jeep Wagoneer from a residence on Wilyoungs Overlook Lane in the town of Clarence.
Investigation determined the Wagoneer was unlocked and the keys were in the vehicle.
Troopers used tracking devices within the vehicle to locate the suspects’ route of travel.
The Wagoneer was located on State Route 33 in Buffalo.
Troopers and Buffalo Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled from law enforcement.
The vehicle stopped near Best Street and Norway Park and the two suspects attempted to flee on foot but were arrested.
Both suspects were processed at State Police Clarence.
The 15-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for Erie County Court-Youth Part for July 2026.
Wilson was transported to Buffalo Police Department Holding Center for arraignment.
