WEST NORRITON TOWNSHIP, PA — A four-alarm fire broke out at Superior Play Systems on Industrial Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 12:20 p.m., prompting mutual aid responses from multiple fire companies across the region.
Engine 77 from Trappe Fire Company No. 1 was initially dispatched to stand by at Jefferson Fire Company No. 1’s Station 46 while Jefferson crews operated at the scene.
Engine 77 responded with a crew of four firefighters and stood by with Chester Ladder 65 from Phoenixville Fire Department.
At 1:24 p.m., Engine 77 was directed to the scene with the Tanker Task Force to assist with water supply operations.
Additional personnel from TAC 77 responded to provide assistance at the scene.
Members from Trappe Fire Company remained on scene for more than five hours before being released.
The scene remained active Tuesday evening, and authorities are urging motorists to use caution in the area.
