Three arrested on drug, weapon charges in Olean

OLEAN, NY — Three people were arrested following an early morning drug raid that yielded fentanyl, methamphetamine and a sawed-off shotgun.

Members of the Emergency Response Team, assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s S.R.T. team and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at 214 North 12th St. at approximately 5 a.m.

The warrant was obtained by the Street Crimes Unit after an investigation into drug sales and possession at the location.

Timmy Kirby, 52, of Olean, was arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony.

Ernest Robinson, 41, of Olean, was arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony.

Steven Bailey, 34, of Olean, was arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

Investigators also located drug paraphernalia at the scene.
