ST. ALBANS, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on June 14, 2026, at 7:01 a.m. on U.S. Route 7 near Beebe Road.
A 17-year-old juvenile from Colchester was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 7 in a 2011 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle rear-ended a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado operated by Shaleigh Gratton, 48, of St. Albans.
The juvenile operator, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center.
Gratton, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured and was not transported to a hospital.
The Toyota sustained front-end damage, while the Chevrolet sustained rear-end damage.
Vermont State Police, Swanton Fire Department and Missisquoi Valley Rescue responded to the scene.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
The investigation is being conducted by Trooper Seth Boudreau of the Vermont State Police St. Albans Field Station.
