JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to the area of Baker Street and Prather Avenue for a reported assault at approximately 8 a.m. June 15, 2026.
During the investigation, officers determined that Brook A. Patterson, 40, of Jamestown, had been involved in a domestic incident and had operated a maroon sedan while his driving privileges were revoked.
Further investigation revealed that Patterson was operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the drug content of his blood.
Patterson was charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs and two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree.
He was held pending arraignment.
