PLYMPTON, MA — A Plympton man was arrested June 13, 2026, following a multi-town pursuit that ended in Duxbury.
Daniel Bean was wanted on an active warrant and had violated pre-trial release conditions when he fled from officers during a motor vehicle stop, according to Plympton Police.
Bean led police through Plympton, Kingston and Duxbury before being taken into custody.
Following the stop, Bean resisted arrest and struck a Plympton Police officer with a vehicle door, police said.
He then fled on foot into a marsh before being apprehended by responding officers.
Bean was charged with failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, speed greater than reasonable, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and possession of a Class C substance.
Bean was previously arrested by Plympton Police on June 4, 2026, following an overnight search involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
The Plympton Police Department was assisted by the Kingston Police Department, Duxbury Police Department, Hanson Police Department, Halifax Police Department and Duxbury Fire Department.
