STOCKTON SPRINGS, ME — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a structure fire determined to be incendiary in nature.
The Stockton Springs Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 23 Cross Lane at approximately 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
Fire crews extinguished the fire and requested assistance from the Office of State Fire Marshal to investigate the cause and origin.
Investigators determined the fire to be incendiary in nature.
There was no electricity connected to the structure at the time of the fire.
The home was destroyed by the fire.
