LOWELL, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 100 on June 14, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. near Carter Road.
Alan Cary, 59, of Jeffersonville, was traveling south on Route 100 in a 2024 GMC Sierra HD when his vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a utility pole, according to police.
The vehicle sustained front-end damage.
Cary was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were reported.
Road conditions were wet and it was raining at the time of the crash.
Lowell Fire Department and Newport EMS assisted Vermont State Police at the scene.
