LONDONDERRY, NH — A Londonderry police officer was injured in a crash while responding to another accident June 11.
The officer was operating a fully marked police motorcycle on Hardy Road near Pheasant Run Road when the crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m.
The officer had been responding to a serious motor vehicle accident on Stonehenge Road at the time.
He was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital in Manchester and is in stable condition.
The operator of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Hardy Road is closed while the crash is being investigated by the Derry Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team.
