HUDSON, MA — Police are investigating a fatal crash that killed an 85-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle on Main Street.
Hudson Police responded to the area of 79 Main Street at approximately 11:40 a.m. on June 6 for reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
First responders located an 85-year-old man suffering from injuries consistent with a crash.
The man was transported to an area hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
On June 8, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner notified Hudson Police that the 85-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
He has been identified as James Calf, of Hudson.
The crash remains under investigation by Hudson Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
