ST. ARMAND, NY — New York State Police arrested a 50-year-old man on multiple charges following a domestic dispute on June 10, 2026.
Craig A. Waltke, of Bloomingdale, was charged with criminal mischief 4th degree, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, assault 3rd degree and disable equipment to prevent an emergency call.
Troopers responded to a residence on Main Street at approximately 8:31 p.m. for a report of an ongoing domestic dispute.
An investigation determined Waltke and the victim were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation.
During the incident, Waltke allegedly struck the victim multiple times, prevented the victim from contacting law enforcement and damaged property inside the residence.
The victim was able to contact a family member, who then notified law enforcement.
Waltke was arrested and transported to State Police Ray Brook for processing.
He was arraigned in the Town of St. Armand Court and remanded to the Essex County Jail.
