CAMP HILL, PA — A 61-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly assaulting security officers at a local hospital.
East Pennsboro Police were dispatched to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital at 503 N. 21st St. at 2:17 a.m. May 30 for a report of an assault.
Officers arrived and spoke with security officers who reported being assaulted by a subject during an incident.
An investigation was conducted and the suspect was identified as Jean L. Shumaker of Halifax.
Shumaker was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison.
She was charged with aggravated assault and harassment.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled at MDJ Sanderson’s office.
