ENOSBURG, VT — A 79-year-old man reported missing after leaving his residence on a utility terrain vehicle was located safe.
Dale Ovitt, of Enosburg, was found at approximately 3 p.m. on June 7, according to Vermont State Police.
Ovitt was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. on June 6 leaving a residence at 2623 W Enosburg Road on a blue UTV.
He was spotted on Joyal Road in Bakersfield and Sand Hill Road in Enosburg on his UTV between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. that evening but had not been located since.
Vermont State Police received the missing person report at approximately 11:18 a.m. on June 7.
The circumstances surrounding Ovitt going missing were not considered suspicious, but there were concerns for his welfare, police said.
