ENOLA, PA — Police arrested a man after he allegedly threatened another person with a hatchet during a domestic incident.
East Pennsboro Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Veronica Lane at 2:34 p.m. June 2 for an active domestic disturbance.
Officers arrived and spoke to the victim, who reported the suspect threatened him with a hatchet.
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as Kamal Rai, 30, of Enola.
Rai was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment.
He was charged with simple assault and harassment.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled at Magisterial District Judge Sanderson’s office.
