ROME, NY — A Rome woman was arrested May 17, 2026, following a stolen motor vehicle complaint, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.
Members of the Road Patrol Division responded to an address in Rome on May 15, 2026, regarding a stolen motor vehicle complaint.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the victim’s white 2009 Nissan Maxima was stolen.
The case was turned over to members of the Criminal Investigations Unit.
As a result, Kimberly E. Guzman, 26, of Rome, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a felony.
Guzman was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and turned over to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for centralized arraignment.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted during the investigation by the Rome Police Department.
