WILTON, CT — A New York man was extradited and arraigned June 3, 2026, in connection with the theft of approximately $150,000 from the Town of Wilton.
The theft involved a stolen check associated with the town’s new police headquarters project, according to the Wilton Police Department.
The suspect was taken into custody with assistance from the NYPD Bronx Warrant Squad and transported to Connecticut.
He was charged with larceny in the first degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the first degree.
This is the second arrest made in connection with the investigation.
