Multiple arrests made in Long Beach Township

LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police conducted a series of motor vehicle stops between May 15 and May 23, 2026, resulting in 10 arrests on various charges.

On May 15, officers stopped a vehicle on Long Beach Boulevard in the Harvey Cedars area and arrested Joseph Salentino, 59, of Barnegat Light, on an outstanding warrant.

Later that day, police stopped a vehicle in the area of 1104 Long Beach Boulevard in North Beach and arrested Jose Balderasherrer, 47, of South Toms River, on charges of possession of prescription narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On May 16, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 14th Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested Angelo Sullo, 23, of Little Egg Harbor, on an outstanding warrant.

Later that day, police stopped a vehicle in the area of 74th Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested William Sloan, 44, of Annapolis, Maryland, on charges of driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to chemical tests.

On May 17, officers stopped a vehicle in the area of 1112 Long Beach Boulevard in North Beach and arrested Adrienne Sherman, 51, of Medford, on charges of possession of prescription narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant.

On May 20, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 71st Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested Christopher Occhipinti, 61, of Oakland, on an outstanding warrant.

On May 21, officers stopped a vehicle in the area of 1010 Long Beach Boulevard in North Beach with assistance from the K-9 Unit and arrested Rocco Murro, 32, of Manahawkin, on a charge of possession of prescription narcotics.

On May 22, police stopped a vehicle in the area of 59th Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested Timothy Downing Jr., 64, of Dumont, on an outstanding warrant.

Downing was transported to Ocean County Jail.

Later that day, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 65th Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested Lisa Fricke, 63, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

On May 23, police stopped a vehicle in the area of 35th Street and Long Beach Boulevard and arrested Raymond Schleinkofer, 78, of Waterford, on charges of driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to chemical tests.

All defendants except Downing were processed and released pending future court dates.
