Bomb threat investigated at New London high school

NEW LONDON, CT — The New London Police Department responded to a bomb threat at New London High School on Friday at approximately 1:39 p.m.

Emergency personnel immediately responded and conducted a thorough investigation in coordination with school district officials.

The threat was determined to be non-credible, and the location was deemed safe.

No explosive devices were found, and no injuries were reported.

The investigation into the source of the threat is ongoing.

Bomb threats are serious criminal offenses that will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
