SCITUATE, RI — A Providence man was arrested early Thursday morning on drunken driving and drug charges.
Troopers arrested Isaiah Polite, 24, of Providence, at 1:02 a.m.
He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor with a blood alcohol content between .08 and .10, first offense.
Police said Polite registered a .095 on the first breath test and a .094 on the second.
He was also charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance.
