Man arrested on drug charges in Bridgton

BRIDGTON, ME — A Bridgton man was arrested Tuesday following the execution of a search warrant at his apartment on North High Street.

Officers from the Bridgton Police Department executed the search warrant at approximately 5 p.m. at an apartment on North High Street following an investigation into suspected narcotics distribution.

During the search, officers seized approximately 13 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, a small amount of LSD and fentanyl powder.

Michael Walsh, 31, of Bridgton, the tenant and sole occupant of the residence, was arrested at the scene without incident.

Walsh was transported to the Cumberland County Jail and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of fentanyl powder, two counts of unlawful possession of schedule X narcotics and violating conditions of release.

Additional charges may be pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
