WESTBROOK, ME — Four Westbrook police officers received a unit citation for their response to a drug overdose investigation on March 17.
Sergeant Brian Olson, Sergeant Chris Burgess, Corporal Colby Clark and Officer Nate Mandeville responded to a local hotel for a drug overdose.
The officers investigated the source of the drugs and quickly identified a suspect who was still nearby.
Officers arrested the suspect and seized a loaded firearm, illegal drugs and cutting agent.
The investigation led to the arrest of the suspect responsible for supplying the drugs that led to the overdose.
