Information received at the time indicated the abduction was targeted by another family member with the intent to leave the area.

Deputies and investigators collected camera footage from residences in the surrounding area and obtained images of vehicles and people who may have been involved.

Investigators notified several law enforcement agencies and community partners, including the New York State Thruway Authority, Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and Canada Border Services Agency.

New York State Police Special Investigations Unit and the state Intelligence Center assisted with an AMBER Alert.

A county-wide be-on-the-lookout alert was also issued.

Law enforcement officers located all three individuals uninjured at a residence in Rochester.

Three individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office A-Zone for questioning.

Gamil S. Ahmed, 31, and Omar Saleh, 30, both of Rochester, and Dajour L. Paul, 26, of Brooklyn, were each charged with three counts of kidnapping in the second degree, a class B felony.

All three were transported to Monroe County CAP court and are awaiting arraignment.
