KINGSTON, NH — A 66-year-old man faces multiple sexual assault charges following an investigation into alleged abuse that occurred approximately 25 years ago.

William Brouck of Kingston was arrested May 8 on charges stemming from an investigation that began March 19 when a parent reported to Detective Gina Whitford that their child had allegedly been the victim of sexual abuse.

Detective Whitford conducted a month-and-a-half investigation that involved interviews and coordination with prosecutors from the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office.

The victim identified Brouck as the suspect during the investigation.

A Superior Court judge found probable cause and granted an arrest warrant for Brouck on May 7.

Brouck faces four counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault involving a victim under 13 years of age and one count of felonious sexual assault involving sexual contact with a victim under 13 years of age.

The Londonderry Police Department located Brouck and took him into custody without incident May 8.

Kingston Police Officer Bob Gagnon completed the booking process at the Rockingham County House of Corrections.

Brouck is being held without bail pending arraignment at 9:30 a.m. May 11 in Brentwood District Court.
