TRENTON, NJ — Two juvenile males have been charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses in connection with a shooting that left another juvenile wounded.
Trenton Police received a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 904 MLK Boulevard at approximately 10:14 p.m. Wednesday.
Responding patrol officers located seven spent 9mm casings in front of 905 MLK Boulevard.
A juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot was located at 187 Rossell Avenue and transported to Capital Health by Trenton Emergency Medical Services.
The victim was listed in stable condition.
The Mercer County Shooting Response Team responded and conducted the investigation.
The two juvenile males were arrested without incident and are pending a first appearance in family court.
The juveniles face charges of criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault by pointing a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon.
