MIDDLETOWN, CT — Officers responded to a residence on Inverness Lane following reports of gunshots at approximately 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers determined that numerous rounds had been fired into the second floor of the home.
No injuries were reported.
The preliminary investigation indicates this appears to be an isolated incident and there is currently no threat to the public.
The investigation remains active and is being conducted by the Middletown Police Department’s Major Investigations Unit.
