Man arrested on stolen property charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested after police observed him riding a stolen e-bike.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon spotted a male riding a black e-bike that had been reported stolen around 12:23 p.m. on May 6, 2026.

Officers stopped the subject on the e-bike on the Arterial at S. Main Street.

The male was identified as Brandon Gilliam, 20, of Jamestown.

Gilliam was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was booked and released with an appearance ticket to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
