CAMBRIDGE, VT — A Colchester man was arrested on a drug-related DUI charge early Friday morning.
Robert W. Barton, 41, of Colchester, was taken into custody without incident on Vermont Route 15.
Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a report of a dispute in a vehicle on Vermont Route 108 at 5:24 a.m. May 7, 2026.
Troopers located the vehicle on Vermont Route 15.
Barton was found to be operating the vehicle.
Troopers observed signs of impairment.
Barton was arrested on suspicion of DUI-Drug.
He was transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
Barton was released on a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 8, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
