PENN YAN, NY — Police arrested a woman on assault charges after a fight at an apartment building left another woman with a broken arm.
Leah M. Brady, 41, of Penn Yan, was arrested on charges of third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Officers responded to a report of a fight at an apartment building.
Police said Brady got into an argument with another woman and began choking her before throwing her to the ground.
The victim sustained a broken arm from being thrown to the ground and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Brady was taken into custody and transported to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment for the purposes of obtaining an order of protection.
