WEST BURKE, VT — A Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer received an inquiry from a New Hampshire law enforcement agency about the suspicious activities of an area man on April 28.
The man was required to be on court-ordered conditions of release at 63 High Street in Burke on underlying charges of felony arson in the second degree and misdemeanor unlawful mischief.
A Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer went to the address on April 29 at 9:09 p.m. and found that Joseph Tanner, 49, of no fixed address, had reportedly absconded from his curfew location at least two months ago.
A warrant application was presented to the court and an arrest warrant was issued with bail set at $250.
