BROCKTON, MA — Massachusetts State Police announced the arrest of a man following a month-long drug trafficking investigation that culminated in the execution of a search warrant on April 29.
The Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team initiated an investigation last month into a drug trafficking operation based in Plymouth County.
Members of CINRET South, Brockton Police Department, Plymouth County Detective Unit, and Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at a property in Brockton.
Two individuals were placed under arrest as a result of the investigation.
A warrant was written for a third defendant who was not on scene at the time of the warrant execution.
During the search, authorities seized approximately 80 grams of cocaine and approximately 1 gram of fentanyl.
Officers also recovered approximately $6,000 in U.S. currency.
Two firearms were seized, including a loaded .45 Ruger pistol with one round in the chamber and a loaded 9mm Glock pistol with one round in the chamber equipped with a switch, which is a machine gun conversion device.
Multiple rounds of ammunition and a large capacity magazine were also recovered.
