FAIR HAVEN, VT — A Fair Haven man was arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred earlier this month.
Scott J. White, 42, of Fair Haven, was taken into custody on May 5 and charged with second-degree aggravated domestic assault and second-degree unlawful restraint.
Police were called to South Park Place at 7:30 p.m. on May 3 for a reported domestic dispute.
Through investigation, police learned White got into a physical altercation with a family member, allegedly causing injury.
White also allegedly would not allow the victim to leave the area.
White was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center by the Vermont Department of Corrections as White was on supervision for prior charges.
White was issued a citation to appear in Rutland District Court on May 6 to answer to the charges.
