ELLICOTTVILLE, NY — A 21-year-old man was arrested following a police pursuit in the Town of Ellicottville, authorities said Saturday.
Dakoda J. Rzeszutek-Viele, of Cassadaga, was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, reckless driving and multiple other traffic violations, according to the Ellicottville Police Department.
The pursuit originated in the Town of Ellicottville.
Rzeszutek-Viele was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court and released on his own recognizance.
The Ellicottville Police Department was assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Erie County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Orchard Park Police Department, Lackawanna Police Department and the West Seneca Police Department.
