Sheriff’s office reports multiple arrests in Broome County

BINGHAMTON, NY — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office reported 19 arrests during the week of May 5.

Jean C. Benitez-Melendez, 29, of Syracuse, was charged with two counts of promoting prison contraband in the first degree, tampering with physical evidence, two counts of promoting prison contraband in the second degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree following an investigation into contraband in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Desirae R. Brown, 28, of Kirkwood, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and fugitive from justice due to an active out-of-state warrant following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident in the town of Windsor.

Danny L. Butts Jr., 54, of Deposit, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree following a traffic stop in the city of Binghamton.

David R. Decker Jr., 32, of Johnson City, was charged with criminal impersonation in the second degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the city of Binghamton.

Mirso M. Fafulovic Jr., 26, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the city of Binghamton.

Sayquan N. McKenzie, 34, of Camden, New Jersey, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, false personation, reckless endangerment in the second degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree, reckless driving and multiple other traffic violations following a pursuit in the city of Binghamton.

Shelby J. Medovich, 28, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and auto stripping in the first degree following an investigation into auto stripping in the city of Binghamton.

Brian M. Miller, 47, of Chenango Forks, was charged with harassment in the second degree following an investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Fenton.

Anthony C. Perez, 26, of Binghamton, was charged with promoting prison contraband in the first degree following an investigation into contraband at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Isacc L. Ravenell, 40, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree following a warrant execution in the town of Union.

Romario M. Robinson, 28, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and auto stripping in the first degree following an investigation into auto stripping in the city of Binghamton.

Douglas J. Rogers, 18, of Endicott, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while impaired by drugs and multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the village of Endicott.

Ashley P. Shoop, 38, of the town of Dickinson, was charged with petit larceny following a larceny investigation in the town of Dickinson.

Anthony J. Terenzi, 47, of Endicott, was charged with assault in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree following an assault investigation in the town of Union.

Gary R. Trickey, 59, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree following a warrant execution in the city of Binghamton.

Justin A. White, 19, of Binghamton, was charged with robbery in the second degree, assault in the second degree and child endangerment following a robbery investigation in the town of Union.

Jack M. Whitehead, 46, of the town of Dickinson, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree following a narcotics investigation in the town of Dickinson.
