ENFIELD, CT — Two people were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at an apartment on Walnut Street on April 30, 2026.
The Enfield Police Department, assisted by the DEA New England Special Response Team and DEA Hartford Resident Office, executed the search and seizure warrant at 8 Walnut Street, Apartment D.
The search warrant stemmed from a lengthy investigation into the location following numerous citizen complaints regarding a high volume of suspected narcotics activity.
Approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine was seized during the search.
Christel Clarke, 50, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and use of drug paraphernalia.
Eugene Joseph, 39, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and use of drug paraphernalia.
Both are being held on $50,000 surety bonds pending their presentment in Hartford Superior Court.
