GREECE, NY — A Rochester man was arrested after a license plate reader detected a stolen vehicle on Mt. Read Boulevard.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 4:27 p.m. April 25, 2026, following the alert.
Police located the vehicle, a white 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, in a nearby parking lot.
Brandon Hamilton, 39, of Rochester, was arrested without incident.
Hamilton was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and unlawful use of a motor vehicle in the third degree.
He was processed and remanded to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.
