POULTNEY, VT — A Massachusetts driver struck a tree after losing control of his vehicle early Friday morning.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash on Pond Hill Ranch Road at approximately 5:14 a.m.
The operator, Joao Vaz, 19, of Grafton, Massachusetts, lost control of his 2014 Nissan Altima and struck a tree, according to police.
The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Poultney Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
