MAIDENCREEK TOWNSHIP, PA — Authorities are searching for a Reading man wanted on firearms charges after he was allegedly found with a stolen gun at his workplace.
Willy Minaya Morel, 21, of Reading, is wanted on charges of possession of a firearm with altered serial number, firearms not to be carried without a license and receiving stolen property.
Morel was found in possession of a loaded firearm at his workplace in Maidencreek Township, according to the Berks County Sheriff’s Office.
The firearm was later determined to be stolen, and Morel was not legally permitted to possess it, authorities said.
Charges were filed by the Northern Berks Regional Police Department.
Morel is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.
