BENSALEM, PA — Police have charged the owner of Bagelocity Soup King with indecent assault and harassment stemming from multiple instances of inappropriate behavior involving employees.
Larry Ferreira, 59, of Bensalem, faces charges following reports of ongoing workplace harassment and inappropriate conduct.
Police were contacted by a former employee who reported the incidents.
Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation and interviewed several current and former employees.
The employees reported similar behavior by Ferreira, which included inappropriate physical contact with female employees, sexual harassment both in person and via cellphone communication, and ongoing verbal abuse spanning several years.
