MENANDS, NY — A woman was arrested on a felony grand larceny warrant following a traffic stop April 14, 2026.
Alexie A. Santos, 36, of Menands, was taken into custody by State Police from Latham on a warrant charging her with second-degree grand larceny, a class C felony.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation into a larceny at Curaleaf in Coeymans, where investigators discovered an additional theft.
Santos, who was employed by the business, allegedly stole more than $50,000 worth of cannabis from the facility between March 11, 2026, and March 13, 2026.
An arrest warrant was issued for Santos on April 13, 2026.
Following her arrest, Santos was transported to State Police Latham for processing.
She was arraigned at Coeymans Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
