BOW, NH — A Chichester man was arrested after police say he was caught attempting to steal a vehicle from a residence on Carriage Road.
Officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at approximately 12:29 p.m. on April 22, 2026, according to the Bow Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers encountered Dylan Beaudet in the process of attempting to steal a vehicle that was parked inside the garage, police said.
Beaudet was observed by responding officers actively loading the vehicle onto a trailer, according to police.
Beaudet was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Bow Police Headquarters for processing.
Dylan Beaudet, 32, of Chichester, has been charged with criminal trespass and attempted theft by unauthorized taking.
Following arrest processing, Beaudet was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections and is being held until his arraignment at the Merrimack County Superior Court.
Police are encouraging any residents in the Carriage Road area who may have witnessed suspicious activity or have home surveillance footage to contact the Bow Police Department.
