PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a concrete culvert early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Mill Road at approximately 12:50 a.m. on March 22.
Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Justin Ryan Beery, 23, of Pennsylvania.
Police determined Beery had driven off the roadway and struck a concrete culvert, disabling his vehicle.
Officers observed indicators of impairment and Beery submitted to field sobriety exercises where additional signs of impairment were observed.
Beery was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to the DUI Center for a chemical test.
Lab results indicated Beery’s blood alcohol content was 0.196 percent ethanol.
Beery was charged with DUI highest rate of alcohol, driving under the influence and various traffic offenses.
Charges were filed through District Court.
