AUGUSTA, ME — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a woman connected to an ongoing investigation.
The Augusta Police Department released a photo of the woman Wednesday as part of its weekly community alert program.
Authorities did not disclose the nature of the incident under investigation, citing the need to protect the integrity of the case.
Police said investigations can involve various offenses including assault, hit and run, credit card fraud, forgery or theft.
Store surveillance cameras and home security systems are often used to help identify individuals, according to police.
