Two injured in crash in Readington Township

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 22 and Main Street.

The Readington Township Police Department, Whitehouse Rescue Squad and Whitehouse Fire Company responded to the crash at approximately 4:26 p.m.

Officers found a 2025 Honda Accord operated by a 29-year-old woman from Pittstown and a 2021 Infiniti QX50 operated by a 58-year-old woman from Bayville.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the crash.

The driver of the Infiniti sustained serious injuries and was flown by the New Jersey State Police NorthSTAR Medevac to an area trauma center.

The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Readington Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
