Pedestrian struck, killed in Moorestown

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on April 21, 2026.

The Moorestown Police Department, along with the Fire Department, EMS and paramedics, responded to Nixon Drive just east of South Lenola Road at approximately 8:14 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian was on the north side of the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle traveling west.

The pedestrian was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The pedestrian has been identified as Christopher Guyton, 37, of Camden.

Notification of next of kin has been made.

The crash remains under investigation by the Moorestown Police Department Traffic Unit.
