Three arrested on assault charges in Coldspring

COLDSPRING, NY — Three people were arrested following an assault that left one person injured early April 18.

Kristen D. Peterson, 37, of Jamestown, was taken into custody by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office deputies at approximately 7:55 p.m. April 18.

Shelby K. Loucks, 31, of Coldspring, and a juvenile were also arrested at approximately 8:01 p.m.

The three were arrested in connection with an assault that occurred at an address on Central Road in the town of Coldspring in the early morning hours of April 18, causing physical injury to the victim.

All three suspects were located at the same address on Central Road.

They were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree strangulation.

The juvenile was processed and released on an appearance ticket for Cattaraugus County Youth Part of Superior Court.

Loucks and Peterson were processed and transported to the town of Randolph Court for arraignment.

Both Loucks and Peterson were remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail with bail set.

They are both due in the town of Coldspring Court at a later date for further proceedings.
