Man arrested on child molestation charge in Exeter

EXETER, RI — State police arrested a 20-year-old man on a child molestation warrant Monday night.

Troopers arrested Justin Duquette, of Exeter, at 8:28 p.m. Monday on an affidavit and arrest warrant for second degree child molestation originating from the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest occurred during a residence check at a home on Evergreen Drive in Exeter.

Troopers were assisting detectives from the West Warwick Police Department with the residence check.

Duquette was transferred into the custody of the West Warwick Police Department.

WEST WARWICK, RI — State police arrested a 37-year-old woman on a bench warrant Monday night.

Troopers arrested Stephanie Bagshaw, of West Warwick, at 8:51 p.m. Monday on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference.

The original charge was driving under the influence of liquor, first offense, with blood alcohol content unknown, originating from the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane in West Warwick.

Bagshaw was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Service Center.
